Social Impact Poster
Layout Design, Craft, Photography
This project was inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #10: Reduced Inequalities and the “Fight for Kindness” typographic poster competition. I created a custom hand-lettered design centered on the words Equality, Justice, and Dignity to promote kindness and inclusivity.
The bold red lettering on a pink background conveys strength and compassion, while the lip print adds a human touch. The final poster was displayed in the Penn State Library as part of the Evanisko Project and submitted to the international competition.
Process
For this process, I began by visualizing women’s rights and exploring symbols that could represent strength, equality, and empowerment. I chose a flowing, script-style font to create a sense of connection and unity throughout the design. To add a personal and expressive touch, I incorporated a kiss mark as a symbol of femininity and self-expression, integrating it seamlessly into the overall composition.
