This project explores album design and experimental typography through the music of Maggie Lindemann. I designed a cohesive visual identity inspired by her sound and aesthetic, translating it into an album cover, custom type, and packaging concept.
To bring this vision to life, I combined Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and photography, creating a final piece that captures the artist’s raw energy and emotion.
Process
I began by sketching out different design concepts to explore how I could visually represent the mood and themes present in Maggie’s music. My goal was to capture both the emotional intensity and the darker, more vulnerable undertones of her sound. From there, I experimented with a variety of materials and techniques to develop a distinctive “shattered” effect for the album cover.
This process allowed me to combine tactile textures with digital composition, creating a design that feels both raw and expressive while reflecting the energy and emotion of the music.
